The possibility of fast-paced elections in Karnataka is apparent, with a lot of opposition against the ruling BJP. However, the main opposition party, Congress, does not seem to have a positive image among the people. Therefore, it is speculated that the JDS party may play a crucial role in the upcoming elections. A recent survey conducted by the People's Pulse Institute showed that no party will have a comfortable majority.

The survey was reportedly conducted in 56 constituencies with a sample size of 5600, which is a small number compared to the millions of voters in the state. The survey predicts that Congress will get 95-105 seats, BJP will get 90-100 seats, and JDS may get 25-30 seats. If this survey is accurate, there may be a resurgence in Karnataka, and Kumaraswamy may become the Chief Minister again. However, the ruling BJP has made the situation unfair by experimenting with the hit out or get out method in selecting candidates for the election.

The rampant corruption is resulting in all odds against BJP and sources say that even Congress seems to have not succeeded in convincing voters that it will form a stable government given the manner in which Congress MLA's are easily usurped by other parties, especially BJP which was already seen in many states.
