The clock is ticking for the elections in Andhra Pradesh and the dynamics are changing in a big way. But for now, one thing looks confirmed. Jana Sena is going to join hands with TDP and fight the election as allies. And this has triggered many observations. One among them seems to be more plausible. TDP head Chandrababu Naidu is alleged to have a track record of backstabbing. His capitalist mindset often tags him as a 'use and throw' leader who is an opportunist and designs some of the most devious strategies to get to power.

A well-known allegation since many years is how Chandrababu backstabbed the great N T Rama Rao and he got famous. Again, in the year 2014 he backstabbed Narendra Modi and BJP at the nick of the moment just before the election. Now, the political observers and many others are saying it is the turn of Jana Sena and its leader Pawan Kalyan. They are cautioning Pawan that this alliance is just for namesake and Pawan must be careful as he is falling in a trap. And there is a reason for this.

If reports are to be believed, it is heard that Jana Sena is asking for about 4 to 5 seats in the East Godavari region which is considered the strongest fort for Jana Sena given the huge percentage of Kapu vote bank. However, reports say Chandrababu is wiling to give only about 2 seats. As such, East Godavari has a total of 16 seats and if Pawan is given a paltry 2 seats then isn't it going to be a raw deal for him? Some are also suggesting that it is better Jana Sena contests independently in all 176 seats and face defeat, at least that way the self-respect of the party and Pawan Kalyan would be maintained. One thing is clear, Kapus will not vote for Pawan wholeheartedly because they know that at the end of the day Chandrababu Naidu will become the CM of AP.

So, the two cents of wisdom being given for Pawan Kalyan is to tread cautiously when dealing with Chandrababu. Fact remains that the latter is a hardcore political veteran who's strategies have created major transitions in the Telugu states while Pawan is a newbie in the system and there is a lot he needs to learn. A false step here could well be a hazardous move that could prove detrimental to the political future of Pawan Kalyan and Jana Sena together.
