Kiran Abbavaram who seems to be on a mission to release one film in every two months is back and this time he chose a rather action oriented script. Let us see if this saved him from his string of successful flops.

Story
Arjun Kalyan (Kiran) is the son of a honest policeman and after seeing his father’s hardships since childhood, he hates to become a cop. However, his father’s dream is to see him as a police officer and Arjun ends up becoming an SI. He also tries to get himself suspended but situations go against him and make him a rather famous cop. Meanwhile, few twist of events happen and Arjun is pitted against the Home Minister Baireddy (Dhanush Pawan). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Performances
Kiran Abbavaram comes up with a good performance and showcases his talent when it comes to dance and mass attitude onscreen. Atulya Ravi shows good potential as a performer and she justifies. Saptagiri and Posani brought some relief with their comedy. Dhanush Pawan shines as the antagonist and he shows good promise as a villain. The others were there to fill the screen and did their bit as required.

Crew
The story was stale and the screenplay was two notches higher in staleness. The script was written shoddily and the dialogues were just okay. The background score was alright in few sequences and one song was nice. Cinematography did justice. Editing was sharp. Costumes and art department were upto the mark while the production values were adequate.

Hits
Kiran’s performance

Misses
Lifeless scenes
Illogical sequences
Overdose of fights
Boring melodrama
Amateurish treatment

Deeper Look
Just recently there has been an increase in one suggestion for hero Kiran Abbavaram, to focus on quality and not quantity. Whether he has paid attention to it or not is unclear but he seems to be busy churning out movies like a factory. As expected, the films are bombing big time at the box office. And this one is no different. Right from the content to the making and the execution, the film has nothing appealing. The fact that audience started leaving the theatres thirty minutes after the movie began goes to show its poor quality. The film takes off on a routine manner and the mandatory interval bang comes without any promise. True to that, even the second half goes in the same morose manner beating the patience and tolerance levels out of the audience. It appears that the only objective of this film was to come up with overhyped dialogues that must elevate Kiran Abbavaram as a mass hero but it has failed miserably. In fact, it looks like a very silly attempt. Overall, the film doesn’t have anything to talk about and with ‘Raavanasura’ around, the collections look highly doubtful at the box office.
