Netizens are criticizing Goenka for displaying his outburst so publicly. "We are all passionate about the game. But this is ridiculous from Goenka. Shameful," wrote Incognito on X. "Goenka has no business in the game as an owner. Washing dirty linen in public with a player like Rahul is extremely cheap behaviour. This is not the first time. He did criticize MS Dhoni in the past," wrote Charlie Harper. "You can scold Rahul for his knock in the World Cup final but you can't scold him just for an IPL match," a cricket fan reasoned.
