The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party has now officially announced the name of Niveditha as the candidate contesting from the Secunderabad Cantonment Constituency for the upcoming bye-elections. SCB is heading for bye-elections as the sitting BRS MLA Lasya Nanditha, daughter of G Sayanna passed away in a car accident in Hyderabad on the Outer Ring Road. The SCB Baston has most of the time been with Sayanna's family. After his demise, the seat went to his daughter, Lasya Nanditha.
