A case has been registered in the Dwaraka police station under the section 188 of Indian Penal Code on Margadarshi employees. It is said that staff of Margadarshi were transporting a cash of Rs.52 lakhs without any substantial bills. The case was filed after the flying squad and the election commission officers complained about it to the police.
According to the reports, police told the media that a First Information Report has been filed in this regard. It is further added that two employees of Margadarshi are identified in this regard. The two staff members are identified as Margadarshi Seethampet, accountant V Lakshman Rao, and office boy Sreenu.
With a model code of conduct in place, the Election Commission of India’s searches are in swing to stop the illegal money flow during elections.
