JSP MLA Candidate: 3.2 Twitter likes, 2.7K votes polled

JanaSena activists have proudly made Pawan Kalyan "Twitter CM" in the past. The party has a strong footprint on the social media platforms but it is nearly inexistant in offline mediums.

Here is the case of a JSP candidate who has gained more Twitter likes for his social media post than the number of votes he had polled in the recent Telangana election.

The said candidate is one Sampath Nayak who contested on JSP ticket from Wyra constituency and vowed to have an impact. He shared a Twitter post on the polling day and asked people of constituency to vote for him.

But what happened is that Sampath ended up getting more likes for the post than the votes he got in the election. Sampath got 3.2K likes on social media for his post and he got just 2.7K votes in the constituency.

The shocking fact that the candidate got more likes on social media than the votes he polled in the election perfectly shows the situation of JanaSena in Andhra Pradesh politics.
