Hilarious! 'INDIA alliance can have four PMs in a year'

Who is the PM candidate of the INDIA Alliance? If Congress party secures even 120 seats, there won't be any debate. It is going to be Rahul Gandhi. If, by any chance, Congress secures about 80 seats and BJP is unable to form the government (theoretically contradictory but let's suppose it for argument's sake), there could be an internal tussle of sorts within the INDIA Alliance over who should lead the country from the coalition. On Sunday, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, who played a crucial role in making his party backstab the BJP in 2019, said that the Alliance is ready to have even four Prime Ministers a year!

"A coalition government is much better than a democratically elected dictator. Who we choose as our Prime Minister is our wish. We will even make two or four Prime Ministers in a year, but we will not let our country go towards dictatorship," he said.

Obviously, such a wobbly government will be bad for growth. Netizens are trolling Sanjay Raut for even uttering the viewpoint with a straight face. "What a genius idea! Four different prime ministers in a year is truly going to help India raise investor confidence, improve inter-departmental coordination, and execute long-term policy prescriptions and projects. It will not at all be a dead government running on autopilot," a Netizen wrote sarcastically.
