India completes second phase of elections

Around 88 constituencies have voted in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, which were held across 13 states and Union territories. In this race, there were over 1200 candidates from various political parties contesting for the parliamentary elections.

Commenting on the elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Phase Two has been too good! Gratitude to the people across India who have voted today. The unparalleled support for NDA is going to disappoint the Opposition even more. Voters want NDA’s good governance. Youth and women voters are powering the strong NDA support.”

Out of seven phases of elections, first phase was held last Friday for 102 parliamentary constituencies across 21 states and UTs.
