In an unfortunate event, a school bus in Haryana crashed a tree and claiming six lives of students and injured more than twenty students. Questions are also being raised on why the school was reopened on the day of Eid, when a holiday was supposed to be declared to the students.
According to the reports, the school bus driver was drunk and the bus fitness certificate expired only in 2018. Several leaders are pouring their condolences for the students.
President Droupadi Murmu, expressing condolences, posted, “The news of the death of many innocent children in a school bus accident in Mahendragarh district of Haryana is heart-rending. May God give strength to the bereaved parents and relatives to bear this cruel blow. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured children.”
