For many decades now, the Tadipatri constituency in Anantapur had been a stronghold for the JC family. But this fortress was blasted open by YCP's Kethireddy Pedda Redddy as he won the election here in 2019.
Cut to 2024, Pedda Reddy is again in a comfortable position to win the election as his TDP counterpart JS Asmit Reddy has failed to strengthen his cadres locally.
YSRCP candidate Kethireddy Pedda Reddy has emerged as a mass leader in the segment, being the first to defeat the J.C. family. He is actively engaged on the ground to retain this segment, with his door-to-door campaigning yielding positive results.
His assertive nature has garnered him a mass following, and his support of the cadre during tough times has built emotional bonds with them. The intact YSRCP cadre, strongly backing Kethireddy Pedda Reddy, is a significant advantage. As it appears, another upset is loading for the JS family in Tadipatri this term.
