Andhra Pradesh election heat has gone up a notch higher, as the nomination phase has over and the candidates are actively campaigning. In this juncture, Andhra CM Jagan, who is campaigning for the YSRCP posed a question to the Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu on reviving his own Janmabhoomi committees.
Jagan said, “You set Janmabhoomi Committees during your rule between 2014-19. When we came to power in 2019, we introduced the volunteer system. Chandrababu, do you have the courage to say that you would bring back your own Janmabhoomi Committees that you have set up, when you come back to power?”
Naidu, instead of reviving his own Janmabhoomi, in this election has promised to continue the Volunteer system, which is one of the benchmark services set up in the YSRCP governance.
