For the last few days, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has been commenting about the fourth marriage of Pawan Kalyan. “Pawan Kalyan changed four wives like how others would change four cars” Jagan said the other day.
By mentioning about PK's multiple marriages repeatedly, Jagan is denting PK's hero cinema image among woman vote bank and cornering PK to respond.
It's purely strategic - there is a loophole and they will exploit it. PK reactions - "Why don't you marry multiple times?", "You are my 4th wife" might seem like great counter for his followers but they don't sit well with the majority voters as it sounds kiddish.
Instead of ignoring it and focussing on issues / actions, PK is falling into the trap like a baby. PK says "I don't care and need not respond on stage" but still he responds, because this topic disturbs him, he very well knows this is not an easy issue to defend when it comes to politics, and Jagan is hitting him where it hurts the most.
PK made many personal remarks on Jagan - "He drove away his mother and sister", "He pushed his sister against the wall", "He killed his family member" etc. But Jagan never reacted to those. He just goes doing what he does and let actions speak for him.
