On Day 17 of Memantha Siddham, several leaders from various political parties including,, Janasena Party(JSP) joined the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached Day 17 of his 21 days of bus yatra, Memantha Siddham. Jagan spent his day in Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Some of the key leaders, who joined the YCP from JSP includes, Godavari districts- Makinidu Seshu Kumari(Pithapuram), Pithani Balakrishna(Mummidivaram), Shettibattula Rajababu(Amalapuram), Lakshmi Sivakumari (Former MLC, Anguri), Bonthu Rajeswara Rao(Rajolu), Meda Gurudatta Prasad (Former Janasena Incharge, Rajanagaram).
The political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh is heated up with polling date getting nearer. While the state goes for polling on May 13, the nominations process has already begun.
