On Day 15 of Memantha Siddham, several leaders from various political parties including, TDP and Congress joined the YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Some of the leaders from Nandigama Constituency who joined the YCP from TDP includes Chirumamilla Srinivasa Rao (alias Bujji) - senior TDP leader and former chairman of Nandigama Marketing Committee, Vaddeli Srinivasa Rao - former Nandigama Town Vice Chairman, Y Rama Rao - TDP key leader in Nandigama Municipal, Godapatiboor Rao - Congress Party Constituency In-Charge, Sheikh Karimullah - TDP NTR District Minority President, Dr. Sheikh Hasina and Kommu Vijayaraju - senior TDP leaders. Further leaders from Srisailam Constituency who joined the YCP from TDP includes, Ahmed Hussain - former chairman of Minority Finance Corporation and Haj Committee, Mustafa Momin - TDP official spokesperson, Mufti Noor Mohammad and Mohammad Ilyas - Presidents of Kurnool District Talimi Board.
YSRCP MP Keshineni Nani, Nandigama MLA Mondithoka Jaganmohana Rao, Srisailam MLA Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy, and MLC Monditoka Arun Kumar were present during the induction.
Post the joinings, CM Jagan was welcomed by a thunderous crowd at Gannavaram. Particularly women were excited to get a glimpse of their beloved leader and formed a beeline to meet and greet CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
