For a while now, the opposition parties in Telangana, including the BRS have been driving the narrative that Revanth Reddy is the Eknath Shinde of Congress and it is about time that he quits Congress and joins BJP along with his group of MLAs.
In a statement that adds to this narrative, Telangana Congress senior leader Dharmapuri Aravind has commented that he is ready to welcome Revanth Reddy into BJP.
"Revanth Reddy is a good friends of mine and he is an active leader who works hard. He is a capable person to run a party but his efforts are being wasted by the Congress party in Telangana. So I am personally inviting him to join BJP" Dharmapuri said.
The fact that a sitting MP of BJP has invited Revanth Reddy to join his party with the state heading for the general election in just under a month from now has a story or two to tell.
