Chandrababu's Sharmila, Sunitha Plan Badly Backfired?

Chandrababu Naidu is a wicked politician who has the tenacity to devised crooked strategies. It is believed that Sharmila and Sunitha's emergence in Andhra Pradesh politics is one such wicked tactic by the TDP chief. Political analysists opine that there is no other logical reason for Sharmila who was in Telangana politics to come out all of a sudden and enter AP politics.

But as it turned out, the TDP chief's plan to make Sharmila and Sunitha firmly stand against Jagan Mohan Reddy has backfired right on his face in ways he wasn't expecting.

Factually speaking, Jagan incorporated whatever vote bank and cadres that Congress party earlier had in Andhra Pradesh. So, whatever anti incumbency there is in Andhra Pradesh will be split by the Congress party now as those who aren't pleased with Jagan's rule might pick Congress.

The split of votes due to anti incumbency will only come back to haunt the alliance. This split in votes will mean that the votes that otherwise would be polled for the alliance will be diverted by Sharmila's Congress. This could be the deciding factor in many key segments as the vote share of TDP+ alliance will take a beating.

The split is not what the alliance waned in AP but this is the price that Chandrababu is having to pay for playing the wicked card of Jagan's family against himself.
