The Bharat Rashtra Samithi party seems to have given the Secunderabad Cantonment Board(SCB) bye-election ticket to the G Saynna’ family yet again. However, the official announcement is expected to be released by the party on the day of Ugadhi.
G Sayanna’s second daughter, Niveditha secured the seat to contest as the MLA from the constituency. It is said that the decision to give her the ticket was taken by the party supremo, K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday in the Erravelli meeting.
SCB is heading for bye-elections as the sitting BRS MLA Lasya Nanditha, daughter of G Sayanna passed away in a car accident in Hyderabad on the Outer Ring Road. Meanwhile, the Congress party has fielded Sri Ganesh from their side.
