Chandrababu Naidu is known for his opportunistic politics and the same can be understood again if we look at the peculiar situation that is being seen in Undi assembly constituency.
Incidentally, the Telugu Desam Party has confirmed that Raghu Rama Krishna Raju who joined the party only yesterday is to contest from Undi assembly constituency in the coming polls.
Undi assembly segment is contested by Mantena Rama Raju usually and he was supposed to contest this term as well. But with the joining of RRR, this seat has been allocated to the defiant leader as Mantena has been sold down the drain.
RRR will now get the safe seat of Undi while Mantena will be left with virtually nothing in his hand. This a winning situation for RRR who defied parties and a losing situation for Mantena who was loyally with TDP.
This shows the kind of respect and value TDP has for loyalists. If a worthy and more wicked candidate comes their way, TDP won't think twice before defecting their candidates.
