The Election Commission of India has given notice to the Telugu Desam Party leaders, Achamnayudu and Ayannapatrudu for making derogatory and baseless comments against the YSRCP founder, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Earlier, YSRCP leader, MLC Lella Appireddy has given a complaint to the Election Commission on the Telugu Desam leaders for their comments made on Jagan Mohan Reddy via their social media accounts.
Now as a repercussion, the Election Commission CEO Meena Kumari has given notice to those leaders asking him for their explanation for violating the model code of conduct.
It is known that even the TDP founder, Nara Chandrababu Naidu has also got EC notice earlier for his derogatory comments on Jagan.
