With restrictions on pensions being distributed by Volunteers in Andhra Pradesh, several old age people, who are dependent on their pensions now, are coming on their beds to the secretariats to collect their pensions, while raising slogans against the TDP for this situation.
In a video that is going viral now, one can see how the family members are bringing the elderly, bed ridden sick people to the secretariats to collect their pensions being given by the YSRCP government.
After the YCP government came to power, with the voluntary system, the pensioners are getting pensions straight to their homes through volunteers without them going out. However, after an organisation, Citizens Forum for Democracy complained to the the Election Commission, the EC has halted this process temporarily, which forced the pensioners to be on the road.
YCP leaders have also alleged that the Citizen forum for democracy is a binami organisation of the TDP and it has initiated this process for electoral gains.
