Prior to the 2018 Telangana polls, Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu forcefully brought Nandamuri Suhasini into the party and made her contest from the Kukatpally assembly segment.
Though this move was initially ridiculed, considering Suhasini's lack of relevant political experience, Naidu was adamant about it and somehow brought her into the party, only for her to face a humiliating defeat.
Now, after all these years Suhasini met Revanth Reddy and she is likely to be fielded as Congress's Khammam MP candidate. She could be used as a ploy to lure the TDP vote bank in Khammam.
Once Suhasini joins TDP, it will mean that she will lose her individuality in the Telangana political space. Once she joins Congress and contests on that ticket, he individual political career is a gone case.
The irony is that Naidu who occupied TDP from the Nandamuri family has started to push out Nandamuri family leaders, latest being Suhasini for his vested interests.
