The physically impaired and B.Ed graduates couple, Prasad and his wife Aparna had a momentous encounter with their real life hero Jagan Mohan Reddy for the first time on Thursday March 28, 2024 at Yerraguntla Gram sabha program. From mimicking Jagan Mohan Reddy’s dialogues, gifting his portrait to expressing gratitude for the pension, Prasad had a fruitful day.
The couple completed TTC and B.Ed in 2015 and were hoping for TET and DSC notification after being married, which helps them land in government teacher positions. And recently, they qualified in the TET examination held by the Andhra Pradesh government and are preparing for DSC.
Meanwhile, since the YSRCP government came to power, it has increased pensions for the disabled from Rs 1500 to Rs 3000. They are getting a Rs 6000 pension per month for their family. As a result, Prasad said that their family received an amount of Rs. 3,60,000 from the government and expressed his gratitude for the same.
