Around 100 Jana Sena Party Workers Joined YSRCP In Nellore

In the presence of Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy, several leaders and workers from Nellore Jana Sena Party joined YSR Congress party on Sunday, March 24, 2024. MP Vijay Sai Reddy was touring in Nellore as a part of his election campaign.

Vijay Sai Reddy took to social media to share the news. In his post on X (formerly Twitter), he said, “Many leaders and workers of Nellore Janasena Party joined YSR Congress Party today. Led by Jeevan Kumar, former General Secretary of Janasena Party, Nellore City, I invited 100 workers of that party to join the party by wearing scarves in my office. TDP is bound to suffer a heavy defeat in the next election. YSRCP will capture the Nellore Parliament along with seven assembly constituencies under its jurisdiction.”

The dissent among the opposition alliance of Telugu Desam-Jana Sena and BJP is growing as many were disappointed with the seat-sharing deal. Meanwhile, the state is set to go for the polls on May 13, 2024, to elect their public representatives for the 175 assembly constituencies.
