YSRCP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP, Vijay Sai Reddy challenged the opposition alliance of Telugu Desam -Jana Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party to promise people and include Andhra special status in their manifesto for ten years from the Central government. On Sunday, Vijay Sai Reddy took to social media to pose the challenge to the alliance on March 24, 2024.

Vijay Sai Reddy in his post on X(formerly twitter) account, said, “I challenge the TDP-JSP-BJP coalition to promise to the people of AP in their manifesto that the Central Govt. will give Special Category Status to AP for 10 years! But they would not do so because they want their alliance more than the progress of AP. Vote for a party that puts AP first, Vote for YSRCP.”

In an earlier post, Vijay Sai Reddy mentioned how TDP is garnering support from the Private schools. In a post, he said, “Apparently, there is a strong lobby of some elite private schools supporting TDP. After the success of Nadu-Nedu, these hundreds of private schools are not able to charge parents high fees. They’re looking for revival at the cost of Govt. Schools”
