Back when Congress won the election in Telangana, TDP leaders and cadre were ecstatic and celebrated Congress's win like their own. This was due to the their affiliation with Revanth Reddy. This led to a talk on social media that TDP's celebrations for Congress's win reminds of famous Telugu saying " Oorlo Pelli Ki Kukkala Hadaavidi".
Now again, Telugu Desam is back in the very same mode as they are celebrating over a political statement made by political strategist and former I-PAC chief Prashant Kishor.
Prashant predicted that YS Jagan will lose by a big margin in the coming AP election and called this his gut feeling. TDP cadres on social media celebrated this big time by feeling as if PK's statement is a public mandate.
But what needs to be noted here is that Prashanth Kishor's ‘gut’ and his predictions have been irrational and have missed the mark in the recent past. His predictions that BRS would win in Telangana and Congress in Rajasthan in the recent assembly elections have been infamously inaccurate! Not to forget his failed attempt at direct politics in Bihar.
Besides his ‘gut’ which has proven to be very wrong in recent times, what is he basing these random, inaccurate predictions on?
