The recent announcement of AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy that very soon Vizag will become the capital of Andhra Pradesh has caused uproar with pro-TDP media trying to gain maximum mileage out of all this.
However, the reactions by TDP chief Chandrababu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan have so far been muted. Usually, they would raise their voice more than anyone else regarding support to Amaravathi but now their silence is definitely alarming for everyone.
Sources say that many leaders expected the Supreme Court to at least stress that the state government has rights to pass its bills for a new capital and may keep aside High Court judgement again, though it may not necessarily be supportive of the three capitals idea. Hence, they are maintaining some radio silence.
