Telugu Associations in America are always at the forefront. when it comes to our culture, tradition, literature, awareness/need of the hour seminars, service, and charity programs. Started in 1990, ATA (American Telugu Association) has been supporting the Telugu people in various matters for the past 34 years and has been going unchallenged. They have undertaken and continued many development programs, not only in America but also in the Telugu states. Generally, National organizations conduct mega conventions once in 2 years. It includes many competitions, pageants, musical concerts, conferences, and many more. ATAConvention 2024 is going to be held in Atlanta this time, from June 7 to 9th in a very prestigious and 'useful to all' manner. The arrangements started from last year itself, moving with great interest and intensity nowadays. Fundraising and kick-off meetings were held in many cities across the USA. Under the abled leadership of President Madhu Bommakanti, Convener Kiran Pasham, Coordinator Sridhar Tirupati, Director Anil Boddireddy, National CoordinatorSai Soodini, Co-Convenor Prashanthi Asireddy, Co-Coordinator Prasheel Gookanti, Co-Director Srinivas Srirama, more than 300 volunteers are working tirelessly in 70 plus committees. ATA convention has many signature events. Some are conducted directly at the convention, some are done indifferent cities and the finals will be at the convention. Many more programs are coming up. Generally, several people go to India during the summer holidays for school. Due to the ATA Convention, many people have postponed their travel to the 2nd week of June or later.
