The clock is ticking for the Sankranthi war and many analyses are happening. The major discussion now is ‘Waltair Veerayya’ vs ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ meaning it is the combo of Chiru - Ravi Teja versus Nandamuri Balakrishna. The focus now is how much openings their films will bring.
As such it is 2 heroes versus a single hero. If both films get equal collections then not much to talk about but if Balayya gets higher openings then it will be a humiliation for Chiru- Ravi Teja. Hence, the opening tension has caught up with both the projects. All these years Chiru’s film garnered higher openings than Balayya.
However, Chiru is coming after ‘Acharya’ and ‘Godfather’ which didn’t really perform well plus ‘Waltair Veerayya’s trailer is weak. On the other hand, Balayya is coming after Akhanda's success and even the trailer of ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ rocked. On the bright side, Ravi Teja is part of ‘Veerayya’ and he is shining with ‘Dhamaka’s success. But then, if the film gets better openings there is a possibility that Ravi Teja fans might take the credit for it. Since it is Sankranthi time, all films will do well at the box office but the point is, which film gets the best openings, let us wait and watch.
