There is no doubt that the film industry is filled with glamour and if luck smiles one can become a crorepati overnight. That said, it is also important to have a sharp sense of business acumen and take a decision when certain projects are offered. This is more for the heroes who deal with high remunerations.

The usual system for many big league heroes has now shifted from not just remunerations but remuneration plus profit share. It is here that Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja seems to have incurred huge losses. Buzz is that Ravi Teja had taken profit share for his earlier movies like ‘Khiladi’ and ‘Ramarao On Duty’.

However, both movies failed to click at the box office and as a result it is heard that Ravi Teja decided to switch back to just remuneration. Now, his recent venture ‘Dhamaka’ turned out to be a success as it clocked 96 crores in just 12 days but sources reveal Ravi Teja went in for just remuneration mode which fetched him about 18 crores. The cine pundits say if only the Mass Maharaj had opted for profit share, he would have taken home an additional 7 to 8 crores without doubt. Well, better luck next time Ravi Teja!
