Vishal’s 'Rathnam' receives CBFC certificate ahead of Friday release

CH Satish Kumar and K Raj Kumar of Sri Siri Sai Cinemas will be releasing Vishal's actioner 'Rathnam' in the Telugu States this Friday (April 26). Ahead of the theatrical release, the movie has received U/A certificate from the CBFC.

As per the team of the Hari directorial, the censor officials appreciated them for delivering rich content. "Gripping screenplay and a power-packed performance by Vishal, besides Devi Sri Prasad's music, are the biggest assets of our movie," the producers said.

A new song titled 'Yetuvaipo' has been put out by the makers. Written by Shree Mani, the melody has been crooned by singer Hariharan.

Priya Bhavani Shankar is the heroine. The film also stars Samuthirakani, comedian Yogi Babu, and Gautam Vasudev Menon.

The film’s runtime is 156 minutes in both Tamil and Telugu versions. The release in the two languages is going to be simultaneous.

Vishal has promoted the movie in different towns, including Trichy, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai, Chittoor, Tirupati and Mumbai.
