Actor Allari Naresh's next is a family comedy entertainer titled 'Aa Okkati Adakku'. Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP, one of the leading distribution houses, has acquired the theatrical rights to the film for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The makers have finalized the film's release date. It will be a May 3rd release.
The film's music has been done by Gopi Sundar. Vennela Kishore, Jamie Lever, Viva Harsha, Ariyana Glory and others will be seen in the entertainer. Directed by Malli Ankam and written by Abburi Ravi, its heroine is Faria Abdullah of 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame.
Naresh is looking at a tonal shift in his filmography with this comedy-drama. "I did 'Naandhi' and 'Ugram', among other serious movies, to break out of a mold. People once again started complaining just as they said I was getting monotonous by doing back-to-back comedies. It has become so hard to generate comedies in today's sensitive times (where people take umbrage to body-shaming, etc)," he recently said.
The film is produced by Rajiv Chilaka. "I entered the film industry with the firm resolve that I have to be here for the long haul," he recently said.
