Vishal’s 'Rathnam': Devi Sri Prasad-composed 'Chebuthaava' is soulful

Action hero Vishal's 'Rathnam' will hit the screens on April 26. It will be a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. Produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam, the family entertainer with action scenes is directed by Hari. The two-language release recently completed its shoot successfully.

Zee Studios and Stone Bench Films have unveiled a poetic love song titled 'Chebuthaava'. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, it is a combination of "beautiful composition, expressive singing, and meaningful lyrics". Rendered by Sinduri Vishal, it has been written by Shreemani. "On this auspicious day of Ugadi, we are happy to release the second single track of 'Chebuthaava' for all you melody lovers and DSP fans. Let's enjoy listening to this melody number," wrote Vishal on social media, unveiling the song.

Typically, within Hari's films, songs serve as rare moments where the tempo eases, and the atmosphere adopts a tender tone. This particular song exemplifies such a pause. The female protagonist (played by Priya Bhavani Shankar) compares the hero's significance in her life to that of a deity.

The film stars Samuthirakani, comedian Yogi Babu, and Gautam Vasudev Menon in key roles.
