'Hi Nanna' wins 11 awards at Oniros Film Awards event

'Hi Nanna', which was released in theatres last year, has been internationally released as 'Hi Dad'. The makers are glad that the film pulled off a feat at Oniros Film Awards' March edition in New York by bagging awards in eleven categories.

Here are the categories in which the Nani-Mrunal Thakur movie has won awards:

Best Drama Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Acting Duo, Best Child Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best First Time Director, Best Cinematography, Best Soundtrack, and Best Editing.

Director Shouryuv and Vyra Entertainments are proud of the achievement of the film.

The film tells the story of a celebrity photographer named Viraj (Nani), who dotes on his 6-year-old daughter Mahi (Baby Kiara Khanna). As a single parent, Viraj values Mahi and treats her to his bedtime stories. Mahi pesters him to narrate a story involving her mother, who is presumed to have either divorced him or is dead. There comes a day when Viraj has to narrate his past to his daughter in the presence of a stranger named Yashna (Mrunal Thakur). Mahi imagines Yashna as her mother in the story. There is a twist in the tale.

The film has been streaming on Netflix.
