Director Virinchi Varma and producer Muduganti Ravinder Reddy are confident that the "authentic, dramatic" narration in 'Jithender Reddy' will see the film through upon its release in theatres on May 3. Based on true incidents, its Teaser launch event has been held.
For the 'Uyyala Jampala' and 'Majnu' maer, the script of this film was so alluring that he decided to set two projects that were in the work aside so that 'Jithender Reddy' got the top priority in his filmography. The film's Teaser begins with a child facing a crisis in life after the murder of his father. Subbaraju's character is seen exhorting him to grow and herald a movement through which a generation could be awakened. "Based on the true story of a real hero," the teaser says, showing glimpses of the rise of a rebellious legend and a people's man. "To forgive you is not Dharma but Adharma," the protagonist tells a negative character before shooting him down.
Rakesh Varre of 'Evvarikee Cheppoddu' fame is playing the titular role. In his speech, he urged the media to support his film. He also thanked his producer-director duo, director Varma and others.
Director Virinchi Varma said that he loves to do films that are rich in human emotions. He described Jithender Reddy as a powerful character about whom he learned by talking with people who matter and reading a book.
