'Save The Tigers Again', the second season of 'Save The Tigers', started streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in March. Starring Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Chaitanya Krishna, Abhinav Gomatam, Jordar Sujata, Deviyani Sharma, and Pallavi Gangireddy in key roles, the family comedy is a 7-episode series with an approximate running time of nearly 190 minutes.
It is learned that the season has turned out to be one of the biggest blockbuster series not just in the southern territory but across India. "The magnificent success has catapulted the show and the franchise into the top 3 web shows on any OTT platform in India. This is one of the biggest achievements in recent times by filmmaker and showrunner Mahi V Raghav who has pioneered the content on OTT," a source says.
Mahi, who is known for feature films such as 'Yatra' and 'Anando Brahma', said, “I am glad that the Save The Tigers franchise has become impactful. It has been seen as binge-worthy by the target audience. The first two seasons of the show certainly left viewers wanting more. I believe comedy shows are considered family films, and if nicely woven around ‘marriage and relationship’ they can never go wrong."
As expected, the third season is coming. "Scripting and pre-production works have already begun. The show may go on floors in June this year," the source adds.
Three Autumn Leaves, Mahi’s production house, is looking for aspiring writers and filmmakers to send in their scripts and ideas.
