Dil Raju on Monday stated that a major pan-Indian project with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero will be made by him at the right time. "The script is ready. Since it is a large-scale project, pre-production is going to take time," Raju said. He didn't name the director, though.
Last year, there were rumours that the film is titled 'Jatayu'. Mohanakrishna Indraganti of 'V' and 'Sammohanam' was supposed to wield the megaphone. However, the project has been put on the backburner due to budget and scaling issues. Recently, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad announced a project with Indraganti. It stars Priyadarshi in the lead. The presumption is that Dil Raju had asked Indraganti to keep 'Jatayu' on hold, making Indraganti to move on.
A reunion of the Raju-Deverakonda duo will take place only if 'Family Star' becomes a hit. All bets would be off otherwise.
'Family Star' is slated to hit the screens on April 5. Its success is extremely important for VD for obvious reasons.
