'Gaami' actor Vishwak Sen is currently working with a debutant director named Ravi Teja Mullapudi. Their film has been bankrolled by Ram Talluri of SRT Entertainments. Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary of 'Guntur Kaaram' fame as the heroine, the film's title poster was unveiled today on the occasion of the hero's birthday.
'Mechanic Rocky', which generates the impression that the film is going to have a mass appeal, is its title. "Sen has been cast in a mass-friendly and powerful avatar. The poster shows him smoking a cigarette while holding a long wrench in his hand. The mischievous expression on face reflects the nature of his character. He sports a light beard and wears a stylish outfit in tune with his character," the makers said.
Jakes Bejoy and Manojh Katasani are doing the film's music and cinematography, respectively. Edited by Anwar Ali, the film's production design has been done by Kranthi Priyam. VK Naresh, Viva Harsha, Harshavardhan, and Roadies Raghu Ram are playing different roles. Kalyani and Preethi Jukalker are the costumers.
Sen is no stranger to films with a raw edge. 'Das Ka Dhamki' is an example. 'Mechanic Rocky' might turn out to be another such hit with a wider appeal at the box-office.
