RGV's 'Vyooham' finally locks its ultimate release date

Ram Gopal Varma's political drama 'Vyooham' will hit the screens on March 2. The film has completed its censor formalities. Today, Varma put out the CBFC's certificate, which reveals that its running time is just two hours.

The film was supposed to be released in December. It was later postponed to January and then to February. After overcoming legal struggles and other issues, 'Vyooham' is finally ready to be released. Ministers Ambati Rambabu, Roja Selvamani and Jogi Ramesh, among others associated with the ruling YSRCP, graced the film's pre-release event in December last year.

Producer Dasari Kiran Kumar recently said that the film's story spans of a decade. "It starts with a tragedy (YSR's demise) and ends with a win (Jagan's oath-taking in 2019 as the CM of Andhra Pradesh)," he added. While Manasa Radhakrishnan will be seen as Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife YS Bharathi, the film has Dhanunjay Prabhune, Surabhi Prabhavati, Rekha Nirosha, Vasu Inturi, Kota Jayaram, and Elina Tuteja in different roles. The cinematography is by Sujeesh Rajendran. Editing is by Manish Thakur.
