Young actor Suhani Bhatnagar, who was seen as the young Babiba Kumari in Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' in 2016, passed away today. She was 19.
At the time of writing, her family was yet to issue a statement. However, those in the know say that Suhani was suffering from some complications owing to prolonged use of medications after she met with an accident. "While no exact reason was known immediately, fluid accumulation throughout her body is said to be the reason," wrote Viral Bhayani, a content creator with close ties in Bollywood.
Aamir Khan Productions, which was associated with 'Dangal', confirmed the news. "We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts," the banner wrote. "Sometimes, life shocks us and shows its cruel side.. Nineteen is not an age to leave this world. May almighty give necessary strength to her parents to overcome this grief.. She will be missed forever," a fan wrote.
