Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory has a bevy of films lined up for release this year. In all, there will be about 15 releases by the end of 2024. A dozen of them are theatrical releases.
The banner is now planning an Indo-Chinese crossover project that will be released worldwide in multiple languages. The film will feature actors not only from Telugu but also China. Its title, genre and other details will be announced once the pre-production is done.
Crossover projects by Indian filmmakers have run into stumbling blocks in the past. Issues range from financial to logistical and creative. Vishwa Prasad, whose banner is ambitious and budget-friendly, is resolved to make this crossover project count.
Very soon, the banner's 'Eagle' will hit the screens. The Ravi Teja-starrer, which is directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, will be released in theatres on February 9. "The last 40 minutes of the film is mind-blowing," the producer said, suggesting that the standards reached by the film are Lokesh Kanagaraj-esque. The stylish, mass action entertainer delves into an issue affecting the globe. A local touch is lent in terms of treatment. Anupama Parameswaran and Kavya Thapar will be seen in key roles.
