'Siddharth Roy', starring Deepak Saroj and Tanvi Negi as the lead pair, is written and directed by V Yeshasvi. Co-starring Anand, Kalyani Natarajan, Matthew Varghese, Nandini and Keerthana, its producer Jaya Adapaka today announced its release date.
The intense romantic drama will hit the screens on February 23. "The wait is over …Get ready to be part of the intense life journey of one and only Siddharth Roy. Grand release on February 23rd (sic),' the makers said.
In the release date announcement poster, the lead pair is seen meditating as if to follow the Buddhist path of salvation and liberation. The vibe of the poster is a far cry from the tone of the recently released trailer, which showed the titular character as aggressive and hyper-energetic. It's an eccentric love and life story, as per the makers.
Shree Rahda Damodar Studios and Vihaan And Vihin Creations have worked with actress Keerthana. Renowned novelist Yandamoori Veerendranath has helped develop the story of 'Siddharth Roy'. The film has cinematography by Sam K Naidu, while the music has been rendered by Radhan. Praveen Pudi has edited it.
