Megastar Chiranjeevi will return with his 156th movie to the big screens for Sankranthi in 2025. Titled 'Vishwambhara', the magnum opus is expected to hit the screens on January 10 next year. Directed by Vassishta of 'Bimbisara' fame, the film will feature Trisha Krishnan in a lead role. On Monday, Padma Vibhushan Chiru took to social media to welcome her on board. "Welcome on board. The gorgeous Trisha," he wrote on Twitter.
Trisha, who teamed up with Chiru for 'Stalin' way back in 2006, is thrilled. "What an honour it is to reunite with the one and only MEGASTAR after 18 years. Thank you so much for the warmest welcome Chiru sir (sic)," she wrote. Trisha was last year seen in Ponniyin Selvan: II' and in 'Ponniyin Selvan: I' in 2022.
Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod of UV Creations are producing 'Vishwambhara' on a massive scale. MM Keeravani scores the music, while Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer. AS Prakash is the production designer, while Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer.
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy are the editors for the film. Sri Siva Shakthi Datta and Chandrabose are the lyric writers.
