'Pelli Choopulu' maker Tharun Bhascker and Victory Venkatesh were supposed to unite for a film in 2018. This is 2023. What is the status of the project? Has it been shelved?
At the trailer launch event of his upcoming movie 'Keedaa Cola' on Wednesday, Tharun laughed at the suggestion that the project has been long shelved. "I have always found it hard to write the climax. I am penning the second half of the film (with Venkatesh) with care. If something goes wrong, the media will be the first one to write me off by saying that I am incapable of doing good films with big stars. That's why I am extra cautious," Tharun said.
The director, known for 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi', said that there is no grain of truth in the rumour that Venkatesh and D Suresh Babu have wasted five years of his time.
As for 'Keedaa Cola', the comedy caper will hit the screens on November 3. Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Brahmanandam, Jeevan Kumar, Tharun Bhascker and others have played significant roles in it.
