We are now entering the second week of December, and here’s some range of new content available for you on popular streaming platforms. This week has something to offer for everyone right from thrillers to love stories and action to adventure, and drama. The OTT platforms this week are screening Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Yashoda, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh's latest release Doctor G to Rishabh Shetty's Kantara version in Hindi.

Kantara

Kantara is a unique story based in the small village of Kaadubettu, in the state of Karnataka’s interior woods. The village witnesses a fight between divine beliefs and evil forces. Shiva rebels against the people who are out to defame the village and defends his home. The film has already been a Pan India super hit.

Yashoda

Yashoda is a pregnant woman who would be following certain rules for the sake of her mental and physical health. There are few twists in the plot which forces her to take few risks which makes her a cash surrogate. After a visit to Madhu's surrogacy clinic, EVA, it initially starts off well, but something leads to a doubt in her mind.

The Samantha starrer is available on Amazon Prime from December 9th.

Doctor G

Doctor G will be screened Disney+Hotstar from 11th December. Anubhuti Kashyap has directed this Hindi movie which is a medical comedy. It is produced by Junglee studios. The story revolves around a perplexed doctor whose primary interest is actually orthopaedics, but he becomes a male gynaecologist in due course.

Christmas Is Cancelled

The film directed by Prarthana Mohan features Emma (Hayley Orrantia) whose world becomes upset after she comes to know that her dad (Dermot Mulroney) and one high school rival (Janel Parrish) are reportedly dating. When her father insists that the three should be spending the holidays together, Emma begins a mission to separate both of them. It is available from December 9th on Lionsgate Play.

Blurr

This is a Hindi-language horror film, which is directed by Ajay Bahl. The film is produced by Echelon Production, Zee Studios, and Outsiders Films. The film plot revolves around a woman who is gradually losing her eyesight as she keeps investigating her sister's death. Blurr will be screened on Zee5 from 9th December.

Faadu: A Love Story

The film helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is based on the story of two unconventional lovers, Abhay (Pavail Gulati) and Manjiri, played by Saiyami Kher. Abhay comes from Mumbai's slum area who approaches life differently and plans on meeting his goals faster while Manjiri, hails from Konkan and she shares a very different outlook about life.
