Since the last few years the Bollywood industry has been brought to its knees by the audience. Some of the biggest stars like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn flopped miserably at the box office. The hypocrisy and attitude shown by the Bollywood folks rubbed the public in a big way and the films got a nasty beating.
On the other hand, Bollywood has been unable to churn out some good content. At a time like this, Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan arrived with 'Pathaan' and it is clear that Bollywood owes SRK big time. The film has taken off to some rocking collections and it has already breached the 300 crores mark.
As we enter the weekend, the collections look unstoppable and trade analysts are expecting at least a 500 crore collection by Monday. At a time when the biggest of stars were scrambling to touch 100 crores, the phenomenal success of 'Pathaan' has infused a lot of life into Bollywood. Yet again, King Khan has proved why he is the Baadshah and there is no doubt that Bollywood has to be grateful to him at this juncture.
