Actress Rashmika Mandanna has faced flak recently with reports that she would be banned from the Kannada film industry for refusing to even spell the name of a production house professionally, which was her first launchpad.
Answering reporters who sought her take regarding the demand to ban her from Kannada industry, she reportedly said – “I only love them. Rest is up to them”. Rakshit Shetty, who is a close friend of Rishab Shetty was her first hero in the hit film 'Kirik Party'. Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty then fell in love and even got engaged. After Rashmika achieved a breakthrough in Telugu film industry, the engagement was called off due to compatibility issues.
During an interview she only used fingers stating a so-called production house approached her for her debut film. Rishab Shetty expressed his displeasure clearly and then the calls grew to ban her from her native industry to teach her a lesson.
