Abhinaya Vani Nritya Niketan and Rinda Saranya have announced a new Kuchipudi Nritya Natika "Amuktamalyada", an adaptation of the great Telugu kavya by the king-poet Sri Krishna Devaraya. The dance drama takes us through the Goda-Ranganatha saga embedded within the social and religious themes of the times.

The event will take place on February 18, 2023, at 6.30 PM in Ravindra Bharati, Hyderabad. The epic work has been choreographed and designed for Kuchipudi by guru Chavali Bala Tripura Sundari. Dr. T. K. Chudamani has written the script, and Dr. T. K. Saroja has composed the music.

The performance promises to be a visual delight as it brings to life the story of Goda, who falls in love with Ranganatha, an idol in a temple. The saga takes us through her trials and tribulations as she tries to unite with her beloved. The story is set in the background of social and religious themes of the times and highlights the prevalent cultural practices of that era.

The audience can expect a spectacular performance as the artists use their skills to narrate the story through Kuchipudi dance, a classical Indian dance form. Kuchipudi is known for its graceful movements, intricate footwork, and the use of facial expressions to convey emotions.

This event is a must-watch for anyone interested in Indian classical dance and literature. The organizers have extended an invitation to all to come and witness the magic of Kuchipudi and experience the rich cultural heritage of India. The event promises to be an evening filled with entertainment, art, and culture.
