Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telangana chief minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao are expected to meet next week at the annual Brahmotsavams of the Sharada Peetham in Visakhapatnam.

The event, hosted by Swamy Swaroopanandendra Saraswati, will take place from January 27 to 31. Jagan has reportedly agreed to attend the inaugural day on January 28, while KCR has not yet confirmed his attendance. The two chief ministers have not met in person for some time despite being in touch over the phone.

The meeting could provide an opportunity for them to discuss pending issues related to state bifurcation, including river water sharing. KCR is also planning to launch his Andhra unit of BRS in Visakhapatnam and address a rally in the city.
