Nuvvu Evaru is a first of its kind sci-fi comedy web series that was shot completely in USA around Washington DC/Virginia. This is produced under the banner Wrapped Candy Films in association with Open Face Media. The cast is mix of seasoned/fresh talent hailing from different states of the US (Texas, Virginia, Michigan) and Canada (Toronto). The show is directed by Pavan Atukuri, founder of an international award winning agency Open Face Media based out of Hyderabad, India. The show is written and created by Deepak Karamungikar and Pavan Atukuri.
The story toggles between two universes of the lead characters played by Jaiwant Pasupuleti, Goda Priyanka Kondapally, Deepak Karamungikar, Vishal Vaddep & Vishnu Prakash makes it an interesting watch. This sci-fi comedy explores the journey of a few lost souls who slip into an alternate universe with a theme that "emotions are same in any universe". How they break free from there and travel back to their home universe forms the rest of the story.
Production was done around Herndon, Ashburn, Virginia was ably supported by the local Indian-Americans Sriram Kombham, Mahesh Gorle, Bhavana Karamungikar and Harsha Chintamani.
